Interfaith Outreach of Carmel
Grant Application Guidelines

With the money raised from Interfaith Outreach of Carmel's benefit shop, Joining Hands, the IOC is able to offer financial grants for housing needs in Monterey County.
These grants, of a minimum dollar amount of $1000, are offered on a quarterly basis to agencies that address housing needs in three areas: 
• Transitional housing for women and children 
• Elder care 
• Homelessness prevention 

Agencies who receive grants must be qualified by the United Way of Monterey County as Certified Partner Agencies.  Those agencies that have received funds from the IOC will need to report to the IOC the specifics of how the funds were used within six months of receiving the funds.

To apply please provide the following information:

  1. Name and address of your organization
  2. Person submitting grant request with contact information
  3. Brief paragraph describing your request
  4. Brief paragraph describing previous activity
  5. Copy of 501(c) (3) status
  6. Detailed summarized financial statement for the last year
  7. List of Board Members
  8. Signature of Board Member/Executive Director indicating approval for this grant application
